Newcastle artist Davey Brown returns to Ibiza with Mambo Moments, a collection of 40 original portraits celebrating key moments and characters in the history of Café Mambo.
The exhibition, the result of an official collaboration with the local, is presented on Thursday 17 September from 19:00 in Mimo ⁇ s, in the Hotel Boutique & Spa Las Mimosas, in the bay of Sant Antoni.
The portraits date back to Café Mambo’s beginnings in 1994 and feature some of the figures who have marked the history of the sunset venue. Among them is DJ Graeme Park, considered the first great DJ to pass through his cabin.
The exhibition is a tribute to one of the most emblematic places of sunset culture in Ibiza, which this summer has continued to be a meeting point for DJs and international audiences.
