Amnesia Ibiza celebrates half a century of track history this year, and it does so with a journey through its past, song by song.
The club has released a limited edition box set with the soundtrack of its five decades, available on ten vinyl or five CDs. It collects the sounds, artists and hymns that have marked their history.
It’s, in essence, fifty summers of Amnesia in one compilation. They appear from Donna Summer and Chic to Eric Prydz, Robert Miles or Calvin Harris, among many others.
The selection spans house, disco, trance and everything in between, and reflects the musical evolution of the Sant Rafel club from its hippies beginnings to its current role as one of the great cathedrals of electronics.
